I believe that a good, therapeutic relationship with a counsellor can help you create change. My goal is to walk beside you on your path.
With over 17+ years of experience, I understand and appreciate the importance of having a therapist you can trust. My goal is to support you in examining your thoughts and feelings, while achieving a greater sense of self worth. I have worked for McMaster University providing counselling for students for the past 16 years. Before coming to McMaster I have worked in a variety of settings providing counselling for a range of life challenges, including women who had experienced the loss of a partner, individuals that had experienced abuse, and youth that had experienced emotional and behavioural struggles.
People come to counselling for a variety of issues. Whether you’re struggling in a relationship, having difficulty being happy and aren’t sure why, or going through a life transition, we often feel better when we get support. Find the service that’s right for you and reach out today. Choose whether you’d like to have your session over the phone, virtually or as a walk and talk.
As a part of my professional practice I am regularly attending ongoing professional development workshops, seminars and trainings. Occasionally I write, post and curate articles that I believe are worth taking a look at. Check out a few of the articles featured below or visit the blog to see all the articles.
